How will my purchase be shipped?

Most pedal cars, pedal planes, tricycles and retro gas pumps are shipped direct from the US manufacturer or distributor. We buy from several different companies that  are located in throughout the Midwest and the West Coast. Pedal cars are shipped via Federal Express Ground Service as well as UPS ground in the continental United States. All other destinations will be considered on a case by case basis.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Do you ship via expedited delivery?

What if I need to place a large order? Do you do volume discounting?

Whether you need 1 or 1000 pedal cars, we can help you. We have handled large orders for corporations before and we are able to provide great wholesale pricing. If you or your business is interested in purchasing in volume, please contact us at 877-738-7604 or e-mail us atinfo@retropedalcars.com. (Please note, we are not a wholesale company, distributor or manufacturer. But, we are able to handle your large volume needs by working closely with the manufacturers of  the pedal cars.)

Are they suitable for children to ride in?

Yes, they're certified to be child safety approved, and they're made of the same heavy-gauge steel as the original cars, they're not fragile, they'll last for years.

Is there some assembly required?

Most of our pedal cars, and pedal planes require some assembly. Typical assembly time is 1-2 hours. Some of our cars do come fully assembled.

Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or international and overseas destinations?

Absolutely.  Due to the high cost of shipping to these locations, we can't include any destination outside of the Continental United States in our offer for free shipping. Do you sell or share my personal information, email address, or purchase history with any other business or organization?

No, all information from your registration and orders at the RetroPedalCars web site are kept strictly confidential. We do not share your email, personal information, or order history with any other person or business. We do not provide aggregate statistical data from your usage or orders to any other person, business or organization.

In short, nobody sees it but the people at our offices who are filling your order.

Do you have parts?

We do not stock parts, but we are able to get replacement parts from the manufacturer. If you are looking to restore and older pedal car and need parts, you may contact us as well. If we can't get the part(s) you are looking for, we will direct you to the proper resources.

Can I return my purchase?

Our return policy states:

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return any merchandise in its original unused condition within 30 days of our shipment. A full refund will be given. We are sorry, but we do not accept returns on used merchandise. Shipping costs are not reimbursed.

Damaged Merchandise:
Items that are damaged or contain manufacturing defects, may be returned within 30 days of our shipment for an exchange of the same product. If possible the item will be repaired. There will be no cost of shipping to the customer for returns of damaged or defective merchandise.

What to do:
In the event that you need to return a product to us, please email us at info@retropedalcars.com or call 877-RETRO-04. Please note: Returned items must be in their original box. All manuals, packaging, shipping inserts, must accompany the return. Basically, You must have ALL original packaging.
